Editting a published team
Dan,
We are testing software at the moment and I have some queries
with regard to the software.
1) Once the team is published, can it be editted due to dropouts or
mistaken confirmations?
2) We have certain members who will resolutely refuse to use this
or any other system. Is there a way to add them and handle their
availability without creating a seperate profile for them and
logging in as them etc.?
3) Have you resolved the issue with the maps that was mentioned
elsewhere in the help section? All the maps seem to revert to
Google's location. You mentioned that an admin can set the map to
the grounds location but I cannot see how you do this.
4) Can an admin automatically email those who have not confirmed in
a published team, to prompt them to do so? Effectively a second
prompt.
Thanks for your help.

Andrew,
To answer your points in order,
1) Not currently, we are working on this at the moment. It should be live by the end of next week.
2) Unfortunately not. Several clubs have made the same point but we feel it would make the situation worse rather than better. At the moment the system forces everyone to use it taking a fair bit of the work out of administrator's hands albeit with a small minority ( occassionally refusing to use it ). However if admins could enter availab on behalf of players we'd very quickly be back to the scenario of player knowing they didn't have to enter their info and the work inevitably being piled back on the admins again. We really want to avoid this.
3) Yes this has been fixed. It will be live on the site early next week.
4) Clubhouse automatically does this already. If a player has not confirmed after 2 days it will send them an email as you suggest. Try not confirming for your next game and you will see one yourself.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Dan
