A couple of Issues and a couple of enhancement suggestions.

Have been using the site for a couple of weeks and think its brilliant!

Issue 1. Can you check to see if a user has tried to register with the email address andrew@blades-family.fsnet.co.uk. They have been trying but say the system keeps crashing on them and I wondered if there may be some hang over from their failed attempt which is preventing them from re-registering.
Issue 2. When I update the map to show the location of a match once the fixture has been published it doesn't store the setting and defaults back to California.

A couple of suggestions for future enhancements - allow the person publishing a team to add a message eg. to give the location, meeting time or any other instructions etc. At present I have to go in and confirm my own selection and then add a note which is ok so long as I am the first to confim selection.
Secondly, would it be possible to re-publish a team and have an email sent out to those who haven't yet confirmed. This would be especially useful in situations where less than 11 people have been picked initially either due to the others not yet being on the system or people's availability changing.

    Alan,

Thanks for the feedback, great to hear you like Clubhouse.

I can see matt has requested to join Haddington and that an admin has accepted his request, but that he has not yet logged in. I can also see that an email containing his login details has been successfully delivered to andrew@blades-family.fsnet.co.uk. So if matt is trying to register again Clubhouse will tell him someone with that address is already registered which is perhaps what they are referring to. He needs to login now rather than trying to register again.

As regards the maps, thanks for letting us know, we are working to fix this and you should be able to save locations on it by the end of the week.

Regarding your first suggestion this is on the list and will be in the next stage of updates. You will be able to add the first message when you publish the team aswell as a map and notes on players, e.g. scorer etc ( and you will be automatically confirmed! ).

As for nudging people about confirmation, we have a reminder service ( just like the availability one ) that sends a confirmation reminder ( by email ) 2 days after a team was originally published to those who haven't confirmed. This automatically happens in the background. Try not confirming for the next fixture and you should see an email to yourself 2 days later. In the not to distant future we hope to push these notifications through more mediums than just email, the main one being facebook, for the younger generations.

Hopefully I've answered your questions. If you need anything else do get in touch, and please keep the feedback coming!

    Cheers,

    Dan Quirk
